Haven't posted in a while...

Very cool mt, very cool! While I don't have any experience with a Cobra 4, if you ever have any general sewing questions I'm only a phone call away. Sew away my friend sew away. Glad ya could make this happen.

Thank you Dave! Much appreciated! There's definitely a lot of learning to do. I'll pick it up today and hope to take a couple of extra days off from work this week to play with it.

If you pick it up at Sheridan Leather….and if it is already setup…..Then you take the time and make them take the time to do about an hour of supervised practice sewing, threading and general familiarization.

Hi Paul, yep, that's exactly what Luke (the owner) and I are going to sit down and do today. He's going to give me and hour or so crash course in the do's and don'ts and general operation of the machine before we take the head off, pack it up, and load it into my truck for the transport home.

By the way, finished another pancake style sheath this weekend. Really liking these!

Thats veyr cool on all counts, tghe machne and the sheath.

Sweet. Those are looking great!

My biggest problem with many of my projects is that they end up looking "used" by the time I'm finished handling them. Since they are mostly just for my own use, that's not much of an issue. But I keep seeing these pictures of amazing pristine leather, perfectly formed and boned, and always very impressed. Keep showing your work. I absolutely love leather.

That is a very attractive sheath, well done! Randy

Thank you Randy!

Thanks Dave! Got the machine home last night and plan on setting it back up tonight.

Thank you! I greatly appreciate the kind words! By the way, I'm a fellow paraglider pilot. Been flying since about 1995. Currently on a Gin Bolero IV, Gingo Harness, and a Gin 1G reserve.

Very cool. I'm still flying my original FreeX, and forget the name of my generic airbag harness. Early on I did try a Firebird intermediate. Very responsive, but had a few a-sym collapse scares, so went back to the docile wing. My avatar is a pic my wife snapped at the end of a flight off Haleakala in Maui in '05. Most of my flights are at the Point of the Mountain in Utah. On the right day, you can launch, bench up, and ride the ridge for hours. The conditions are so perfect at that site, that usually the only reason to come down is darkness. I can only remember one flight where I actually sunk out and had to hike my way back to parking.

Keep 'em sharp and in leather. ;)

Right on! Always wanted to go to the point but just never have had the time or opportunity. I do know Chris Santacroce quite well though as I would suspect you do too from flying there. Be safe and let me know if you ever get up north in Wyoming. We have a great site on the Big Horn Mountains called Sand Turn.
