Having the Henry's over for dinner

Mark J,

I think you are right. Nice picture of some nice knives!

jim n,

How do you like the Legacy? I have been so close to pulling the trigger on that one for a couple of months now.

I love it, I carry it all the time sans sheath. Opens as smooth as an auto, SHARP, light as a feather.

i have always liked WH knives and think they make some of the best gens's folders around

i just wish they made some left handeed ones :(

Well I'm going to go for it and get a Legacy too...now to decide which one!
:)

Here was a Legacy, the smaller style, but was nice,

Dandy little knife!

That is a sweet looking knife. But, I don't think I am all that crazy about friction knives.

With the William Henry style of friction folders, they provide a ball bearing
detent on both closed and open postions, while not in the wildest stretch
of the imagination a type of lock, you still need to press down on the extended
tang for a more secure working knife.
But, in use, with the blade cutting into something, you're pretty safe in
that respect.

I received mine today, a GREAT friction folder. You usually can't touch a WHK for a buck 75, a great knife.

Thanks G2!! That IS good to know.

Has anyone used one of the DLC blades extensively? I was going to get a Titan Monarch, but I love the carbon fiber- unfortunately to get it with a lock makes it WAY more than the Titan. Now add to this dilemma finding a cf knife with the DLC coating, and I'm almost ready to fork out the difference- if I only knew that the coating would hold up and end up with me having an ugly but very expensive knife!

It seems fairly tough to resist, but will show some marring;

here's an addition to my family ;)

Very nice knives, all the way around.

All you WH guys, I'm thinking about getting a Titan, either a 12 or 15. Which one would you recommend, and why?

Thanks!

15 without a blink,

Reasons;
Better point
no swedge on the 15, this way if you need to press down you're not pressing
against a narrower section

Just plain sexier too ;) but then I'm biased :)

Thanks Gary! From the pictures, it's hard to decide, I appreciate hearing from folks who have actually used them. Nice pictures, as usual....

I was hoping it wouldn't be a blondes v.s. brunette type of thing.... :D

For what it's worth, you can see way up there in a previous post are several
knives that use to be my WH collection, started out with a fancy T12 and had
the carbon fiber one too, both were nice, but, the 15's just to me, really are
a lot nicer.

Here is an article that explains how the knife came to be, a collaboration
between William Henry knives and a famous Tracker by the name of Tom Brown

Tom Brown Quest

Good luck, you really can't go wrong with either choice...

jim n, Well said and nice knives!

I just drove down for a day trip to Nordic Knives in Solvang, CA. After handling some fine custom knives, I came away with a production knife - a William Henry B12-FT Titan. What a sweet knife! Very light, tight, smooth, scalpel sharp, and very refined. The black leather pouch is stylish too, IMO. It is my first WH knife. True, practical, knife-knut pocket jewelry...

Shoud re-thread this one as William Henry Porno, the pictures are awesome.

Does WH make any dedicated LH ones ??

Regards

The pix of the WH's that you guys own, are incredible!!! I may have to get one one day!!
