Having Trouble Finding s35vn heat treatment.

I have been searching around trying to find somewhere that will heat treat s35vn, but all I can find is s30v. Please Help. Preferably somewhere close to California.

Paul bos heat treating does it I think. also peters heat treating in pa does it. if you found a place that does s30v, I would call them and see if they would do 35vn for you. they should be able to look at the data sheets and come up with the purpose recipe to hear treat it.

Not CA but Peters HT certainly knows how to do it !

Tru-grit is in southern California, they do S35VN. I've had no reason to believe that their heat treatment is not of good quality. Jeff (their heat treater) seems to put a lot of care into it. They are also small-batch friendly.

Every heat treater that does high alloy stainless can do S35VN. The HT is straight forward.
