ya they really loved the knives and i was glad i was able to keep them a secret from them. man giving knives away feels good. now on the the flood. i know you want to see pictures of that.

this is how deep it was. some peoples cars where getting water inside it was so high. and yes that is a boat in the top corner of the picture. we have a little drainage canal that runs along the back and side of our property and we have a little boat that is in it. between the boat and the nabors house is where the drainage canal is.

here i am trucking through it after the rain had slowed down a bit. we had to clear out some floating blockage (coconuts) for some dranage grates so the water would flow better.

Sounds like you had a great time. I come from an interesting family too. a 6 and 4 combo that my mom and dad cross adopted. My adopted brothers and sister are every bit as much mine as my "blood" ones. Jim

My family lives over in hauula close to PCC. ya it was a bad rain, my fam was telling me that just a bit ago they had a forty day rain but that this was worse. it was coming down so fast it could not drain out fast enough.

Yeah, congratulations!
And 10/4 on Provo, my old favorite hunting and fishing HQ.

Neither you or I were making custom knives the last time I was in Provo, back in the 60's.

Sounds like you might not be half bad to have as a brother. I hope the flood didn't damage too much.

Allen

Well besides the flood, everything looks great! Congrats to your brothers and sister!

Gongrats. Thanks for sharing that.

Sounds like fun, even with the flooding. +2 on posting pics of the knives. I don't remember getting any cool gifts when I got my Eagle rank. I think my parents said maybe in a few years when you are old enough to drive, we will let you.

yes the kahuku side got it too,our family has a beach house right across the street from PCC entrance got to help clean up this week....main thing every one is ok,,,aloha
