Bill, I tnink I have never seen a finer set. This may be the consummate hawk and Bowie. Thanks for doing and sharing.
As for Loriens comment, it would have to be a very special zombie to use such a fine piece of hardware on them. Maybe Salma Hayek, but I think I'd keep it in the display case and just keep her in chains.
Beautiful set! I love the size of that knife, I've been going back and drooling over the annual bowie competition knives, man I love big blades. I need to win the lottery.
AWESOME set Bill! Both pieces are incredibly nice. The hardware on the bowie looks exceptionally nice and that hawk looks like it would be JUST the ticket for the intended tasks.
Bill I think the work you are doing with this combination of damascus pattern and wood type is the most elegant beautiful period inspired work I've ever seen. Seeing this stuff makes me want to change the direction of my work.
WOW . Its cool to have a post restarted after 3 months. Thanks guys.
Scott, I think most, if not all knifemakers change the direction of their work several times over the course of their career, as we get older we see things differently and our tastes in what we like changes. Looking back at my first knives, my preferences have changed several times. I still like them all but my favorites have evolved you might say.
