Ground from 1095 hc, measures 7'' o.a. with a cutting edge of 2 5/8'' from tip

to choil. handle is stabilized spalted maple(dyed 2 X's). blade if flat ground,

and edge hardened. blade has a bead blasted and buffed finish. pins are hand pined

nickle silver.

price $105 s&h included.

i tried to get this camera to make a short clip of the knife in action, but it's obviously smarter than i. but i aint gonna give up yet.

Drooool! very nice! ima big fan of spalted maple, my dad has turned some stunning bowls from it.

can you run down the dying process? i assume you used aniline dye?

nope...........................wssi could though, i get alot of handle material from a guy that deals with them.

no worries!. i was able to show the old man these pics, and he nods his head in appreciation to the wood......(in other words he understands a little bit more why i like blades. nand we can both relate to them....
 
very cool, me and my grandfather talk knives and guns, etc for 3,4,5,6 hrs at a time. we have since i can remember. alot of good conversations that will never be forgotten. ya learn alot from them old farts.

I have received the knife and I am quite pleased with it!

The handle design is quite unique and fits my hand well.

That is one sharp blade too. Nice job on that!

The sheath does look great and fits the knife well. Tell your cousin that he did a great job!
