Hey Guys...

I get quite a few people asking me for Hawk and Hatchet Covers...

These are meant to protect the edge and not meant as a carry system..

When I carry my Hawk in the bush, it is usually dropped into a loop of some type on a pack or bag, or simply tucked into the back of my belt for easy access..

These are simply yet effective,, and don't add weight or bulk to the Hawk itself..
The cord at the top is pulled downward and the cover pops off

The Fiskars or Gerber 14" handled hatchets work in exactly the same fashion, and is lighter and less bulky than the contraption it comes with.

Thanks and let me know what you think....

Great stuff.

I have a Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawk that never leaves the house much because it didn't come with any kind of sheath or cover. I haven't gotten around to making one yet. I bet there are a lot of other folks in the same boat....

Stay sharp,

I don't like em!!! (spoken from the traditional "leather" man in me)

Actually, I love em!!! (spoken from the heart.... but I'll never admit it outside these brackets)

Eric made one for my trusty hawk, Chuck Norse... light as hell! Although he claimes they are not for carrying, the fit on mine is more than sufficient enough to retain the hawk. I ran some paracord across the top and bottom grommets and fed my belt through it. they are the bee's knees folks!

ps. You better start posting in here more often, buddy..... someone might accuse you of spamming!! ..... you know Esav pays $20 bounty per spammer turned in.... and you get a $5 bonus if it's a close friend... lol.... just kidding, bro..... but not really.

Finally! I've never understood why this type of thing hasn't flooded the aftermarket, everyone wants a simple, light edge cover for their choppers.

outstanding!

(BTW, got the SOD sheath, words cannot describe how happy i am with it. Thank you!)

Nice job Eric but where are the G-strings ? What a way to get me to check out your post, lol !!!!

Just so nobody else is left dissapointed by the lack of G-strings ( it is camo so fitting with the Wilderness/survival theme !)

I like them, I'd love one for my Fiskar's that I can strap to my pack as a carry method.
