Forged from 25mm (1") round C45 steel bar (AISI 1045).
Handle length is 14", hemp wrap soaked in epoxy resin.
4,9" head length, leather wrap on handle.
Flared brass lanyard tube.
2,6" blade length
Weight around 14,5 oz
Vegetable tanned leather blade cover.
Burned Ash handle.

No, there is no hemp wrap under. It's a 2,5 mm thick vegetable tanned leather, glued to handle and sewn in the back. Leather is soaked in dye and after that in bees wax cream.

Ok. I saw your original description said "hemp wrap soaked in epoxy" but can't tell in the photos where that is. Either way I've got one of your hawks and it is sweet! Congrats on the sale!
