This time, a bit larger than usual.

Forged from 25mm (1") square C45 steel bar (AISI 1045).

Handle length is 15",leather wrap on the handle, glued to handle and stitched with wax thread.

5,75" head length
3" blade length
Weight 23 oz
Vegetable tanned leather ( 7oz thick) blade cover.
Burned Ash handle.

Definitely a winning combination of size and geometry. Best new hawk design in quite a while. 👍

Would making the hammer end a tad longer give better finger clearance for hammering while choking up? Maybe 1/2-3/4” longer on that end? Also possibly extend the leather wrap down the haft 2-3” to get your hand out from under the beard point when hammering? Might make it a little easier to use in that circumstance. Great job!
