Hello everyone , do not usually see a fix hawkbill on this forum so I thought I would give one a try . I was paying so much attention to getting this just right that I missed an oops . At the beginning of the plunge grind on the edge I missed getting both sides perfectly equal , asking price will reflect that and you can see it in the pic showing the liners .

Now lets get to it , this was hollow ground from oversized 5/32 , A-2 tool steel bar stock . I did a used 240 grit satin finish on the flats parallel with the blade , while the hollow has a fine scotch bright satin finish perpendicular to the blade . It has been heat treated to an Rc. 61

O.A.L. is 7"

Blade - tip to handle is 3-1/4" , the working edge is at 2-7/8" , 1-1/4" wide at the finger guard .

Handle is India Sambar Stag , with red liners and nickle silver pins . There is a small surface crack on one of the scales but it is going no where . I have sealed the whole handle with ca. glue .

Sheath is 9 oz. belt carry , right or left hand .
**SOLD**

Asking $215.00 + $ 10.00 for shipping in the USA . Pay-pal or postal M/O preferred .

My PP is sandlot@charter.net

Thank you for viewing my offerings .

Jack: Nice lookin' package at a fair price - stag is outrageous in price nowadays.

Dang Jack, between what you're postin' and what Bill's postin', my heads spinning. Love the stag, looks like it'd fill your hand.

That reminds me a little of the Mike Erie "Sport 500" series, but a lot nicer. Hawkbills are best with a 3" or shorter blade, and I love the stag. Too bad I already blew my knife budget for 2015. :(

Thanks everyone for the comments , I appreciate it

Tyr-shadowblade , 2015 just started , you got a long way to go
