How did you remove the factory paint on the head hatchetjack? What paint did you use to make the head green?

Please do tell...I wanna hawk just like yours when I grow up. ;)
 
I Just Bought My First Hawk Atan Estate Sale In Rockmart Ga.(my Wife And Ihave An Antique Business) And Iwas Wondering About The Quality Of It . It Looks Fairlyunused. It Has "cast Steel, Allan Mfg.,warranteed" On The Side. I Bought It To Resale But It Looks Like A Piece I Should Keep. Any Info On It Would Be Appreciated.thanks. Booky
