Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Just a note, I have steel on hand for one Belt Hawk, or Hunter`s Hatchet, and for one Spike Hawk besides the one I have on order for this month. Due to some nasty price increases on the steel for these, if I decide to make more after this steel is gone, the price will be much higher.
John, could you do it in a spike hawk? Also, what is the maximum length you could make it? Thanks for a reply.
John, I'll take a 14" spike hawk with black micarta to match my Huron edc. Will you add a lanyard tube please? Thanks.
How's that Huron EDC working out for you? I think that you're the only other person who owns one.
Jeff
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and just ordered my first axe from John, thanks largely to mykel's photo of that rehandle job on the camp hawk (thanks for posting that). It'll be 14" overall and have yellow G10 with similar hollow pins on the handle, so I'll post pics when I get it. Hoping to test it out in the Laurel Highlands here in Pennsylvania.

Welcome OldBeary - saw your order on the orders page - well done!
To add to the Hatchets and Hawks thread, I had an interesting thing happen Sunday during our Superbowl party.....
My wife and daughter were discussing home defense and guns and kids etc., when my wife started telling my daughter about HER little battle hawk!!!!!! That's right, Maggie has (mistakenly) started thinking that my DBH is HERS!
Well, she does keep it by the side of her bed, and it was the tool that she was showing off.
My daughter thought that the DBH was a very confidence inspiring tool to have to defend oneself, that would be safe to keep around young children.
Just an interesting thought - maybe I will have to have another one made so she can have her very own DBH.......
Here is the official DBH thread for those who may be interested....
