Bruce, great job. I know a carver who might be very interested in using similar pieces. Are you going to do more of these? He does beautiful Pacific Northwest coast native carving and is always in the market for trade styled blades.
Is there anything you don't do well? Terry
 
Terry,There are lots of things that I don't do well...At least in my mind...
I would love to get some of my work up in the Pacific Northwest since that is Home to me.I was Born and raised in Oregon.(most of it around Portland)

Damn Bruce, where do you get that nice maple for the handles? The hawks look great man. When I grow up, I'm going to make hawks like those.
 
Max,I get the Maple at my local Little Saw Mill's that are all over the place around here.They have all kinds of cool local woods in ruff cut form and it is not that expensive this way,I just have to let it dry for awhile....
