I started forging some smaller blades from my grandfather's old hay rake tines. I didn't want to sell any of them because they are from my grandfathers hayrake. So, I bought some O1 drill rod in the same dimensions in order to make some to sell. This is the first one being offered.

The steel is O1, forged out and heat treated to around 60rc. The tang is a through tang, and it is peened on the butt end.

The handle is African Blackwood. It has been shaped and polished and really fits well in the hand.

The sheath is 7-8oz leather from Wickett and Craig. I hand tooled it and the knife fits snugly.

Dimensions
Blade - the cutting edge is 2 1/2" and it is 3 1/2 from the tip to the handle
OAL - 7"

Price - $sold shipped to the US. I will ship internationally for an additional fee.
I have this posted elsewhere, so the first timestamp saying "I'll take it!" gets it.

Could you put up a picture of the end? Will any be under 7inches? I'm thinking pocket carry. Thanks.

I have abused one of Matt's pocket fixed blades for 4 or 5 years now and can't say enough good things about his knives. These are gorgeous but when I need a new EDC it will be another of Matt's PFB .

I just forged out two more this afternoon. And I’m still finishing up things on some sheaths for the other 3.
