I tried out a new'ish stamp on my first HDFK sheath and I didn't hate how the stamping came out but when I glued it up I messed with it too long and the tooling got a bit washed out along the spine of the sheath.
It's not fugly but I don't think I want to sell it and it's a right handed sheath so I don't need to keep it. So if you have an HDFK/NASK and want to put it to work for a bit here's a chance for a free leather sheath for it.
To enter just put your HDFK to work and show us some pics. I'd like it to be something that's going to keep the knife in your hand and being used for a while so something a little more involved than making a fuzz stick or cutting up some fruit will be needed. Carve a try stick, break down some wood to different sizes for a fire, do some butchering, dissect a unicorn, etc. You get the idea. Some thoughts or comments about how the knife handled in different grips and uses would be swell also. One entry per person but feel free to add as many pictures and info as you'd like. I'll probably have someone else do the random number generator and pick the winner then it'll be off to its new home.
Don't worry if your work looks ugly, this is just about getting these knives to work. There are still people waiting on their HDFK's so this will run till the Monday after Thanksgiving to hopefully give people plenty of time. Good luck!
