I just ordered a McLux III PD, so I have to make room (and money).

Light is under 3 months old. Carried almost daily, but with little wear/tear. Unfortunately, I did drop it once (on hard tile), and there's a minor dent on the tail cap. The anodization is still intact, no chipping or scratching. Just a dent in the metal underneath (see picture below). No other significant marks.

I would describe the tint on max as WHITE. Very white. It almost looks as though it might have the slightest hint of violet, but if I compare it to a light with a violet tint (my Fenix L0P), the HDS almost looks like it's green. However, if I compare it to a light with a green tint (my Fenix L1P), it almost looks like a slight violet tint. If you don't compare it side-by-side to any light, it's WHITE. Trust me, even the pickiest of White Wall Hunters will be happy with the tint on this example.

On the primary 10 lumen setting, the light shifts a bit warm, which I happen to find rather pleasing on the eyes. The warm tint isn't as glaringly bright to unadapted night eyes.

I don't have a light meter, but I would venture to say that the factory 42 lumen rating is a bit undergenerous, and closer to 50 lumens. This is in comparison to the 35 and 55 lumen settings of my Light and Motion Vega bikelamp.

For runtimes on a CR123A primary, expect about 50 minutes on max before it steps down to a lower level, then another 40 minutes til it steps down to the 10 lumen primary output. With an R123A (700mAh Batterystation) I got about 30 minutes max til stepdown, with another hour before it steps down again to 10 lumen. More detailed runtime info here

The price I am asking is $105 shipped USPS Priority. This includes an unused pocket clip (I used the light with a clip, but I bought a spare when I first ordered it, and I'll send the unused spare) and a new Surefire CR123A. If you wish, I'll include the charger kit (2 protected BS 700mAh batteries, charger with wall plug and 12V DC plug) for an additional $20. I can take paypal with no fees from a bank transfer, or with a CC+fees ($108.44 for the light, $129.04 for the light + charger kit). Let me know how you intend to pay, and I'll tell you which address to send payment to.
