I just got ten knives back from siguy. As usual he did a wonderful job on them. One more batch and I will have everything sharp.

except those couple i traded away for some other stuff at WAR...;)
just kidding...still safe and sound.

.

Oooh what new knives did you trade for, you get anything good?:D

I have a box here ready to go today. Along with a major problem child- a badly abused/grinder'ed double bit axe head that was once my grandfathers. Looking for new life from an old friend.

2Door

2door,
can't wait to see what i can do for you.

i have a couple of small axes in today that i'm about to go work on.

When I get around to it, I plan on sending a Vic Spirit whose blade I made into a plain edge awhile back, but can't get the bevels even to my satisfaction. I also have a Northstar that needs slight touching up to get it back to shaving sharp (which I can't quite seem to do).

I have thought about offer a similar service, but Siguy's work looks top notch, and there is no way his prices can be beat.

Keep up the good work, and we need some more PICS! Hint, hint.... :D

I sent off a batch of knives and an axe to Siguy yesterday. After hearing all of the great comments on his work, I can't wait to see it first hand.

Jon

jon, i've got them all sharpened up, just waiting for my new strop to dry out for the last step.

i should be able to get them in the mail tomorrow before i leave for the weekend.

Hrm. Have you worked on any of mine yet?

Personally, I'd be surprised if he had....yours are freakin' LASERS! All I do is strop the 2 I have of yours and they shave the hairs right off my arm.

Simon, I'm going through my stuff right now to decide which I'm sending your way.

I agree. Koyote's blades are pretty simple to keep sharp as well as Fiddlebacks blades. So if Simon didn't get to fondle them yet I'll bring some to the CT gathering next weekend for him to play with.

nope i haven't had a chance to handle any of yours, christof.

tony, thanks i look forward to it.

also, the timing works out that i should have a few fresh new blades for everyone to handle at the CT gathering as well.
