My little one came down with the flu Friday, and his long B-day weekend turned into 104+ fever and the YUCKS!!!! But even though it was a day late, we celebrated his B-day this evening, and along with various toys and games, he scored a sweet Alox Farmer, and a copy of Snow Dog. He is still running about 101 fever, but those gift bags were screaming his name. Now I just gotta get him well, so we can put some miles on the SAK. He already used it to open his other presents. Anyhow here are a few shots of him and the goods.

Beckerhead,

That's awesome! My little guy turned 9 on Saturday.. He didn't get sick, but he did get my old Imperial Wildcat Skinner! Tell your boy Happy B-day!

Hope he feels 100% soon. Sorry to hear it happened.

Same thing on my boy's 2nd birthday weekend a few years ago.

I bet he's a happy B-day boy! Good stuff.

Looks like he is a happy camper after he got that Farmer
Hope is is 110% soon.

a soon to be happy camper! great pics!

yikes, much over 104 can get dangerous. watch him carefully.

that alox farmer looks great. Gotta find one of those myself.

I can't wait until my daughter (3 next month) is old enough for a SAK.

Some of my fondest memories of childhood gifts are things given to me while sick - it can be real uplifting.

Man, whata bummer. Sorry he is feeling bad. Hope he feels better soon.

What great gifts though!!! He will treasure that SAK, and I can see that book being worn, and dog eared in a few years. Its a great story, every time you read it.

:( Poor kiddo...sux to be sick on your bday, he still looks a little sick in that first pic but is awesome for squeezin in that smile. Hope he gets better soon and I along with most other expect "field reports" when he gets better. Tell him we here in the WS&S said happy (belated) birthday! Great presents! He should be proud (as I can see he is).

Excellent gift choices. He'll still have that knife when he's a dad.

Jeff
