Headed for Iraq

I feel the same way Dale. I would like to do this again. It does my heart good to be able to help our Heros who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us back home. If my knife improves a soldiers life and helps make his job easier that makes me feel so good inside. It may even save someones life. I'd like to say it also, thank you to all of the knifemakers out there that have gotten involved in these types of donations. It is the most satisfaction I've ever gotten out of making a knife.

Hope to have mine ready to go to Irac in 2 weeks. Glad I could do something to help the cause. I'll be sure to post pics when its done.
 
It's incredibly generous of y'all to do this. It was also way cool to read about it. I think that it would be a great idea for Blade magazine or one of the others to do a feature article about the knives that were donated to our troops by knifemakers, with pics similar to the ones that Mr. Baxter posted. In addition to being well-deserved publicity for the knifemakers, it would be a cut above the usual article.
