Headed to New York City

Know of anywhere that sells some of the higher end production folders? Sebbies, Umnuns, Striders... etc? Great list so far, I'll have to make a day of hitting as many of them as I can. I've never been there before and I'm going to get so lost, it will be fun.

It's hard to get lost in Manhattan. Avenues go north-south, streets east-west. Below Canal Street you don't have that same grid, but the area is small enough that a map will get you around easily.

I recall seeing a couple of Sebenzas at Paragon when I visited. Dunno about other big name production or custom folders, out of my price range so I wasn't looking closely.

If you decide to bounce all over Manhattan for a day, grab a Metrocard, even better an unlimited ride card. Hit the subways and buses as much as you like, but keep the knives out of view in your pocket. And if you carry a backpack, be advised that the police randomly search them on the transit system. If you have the time, try Brooklyn. Williamsburgh,Dumbo,Brooklyn Heights,Cobble Hill are all close to lower Manhattan. Only a stop or two into Brooklyn via subway. Lots of cool restaurants and bars.

One more legality question. My Bali-yo by Spyderco. Any issues there? A balisong pen.

Thank you all for the advice, yet again!
Greg

The Bali-yo is a pen. I don't think Mayor Mike will be banning pens until after he's re-elected.
