Good Afternoon,
This is a new design I started working on earlier this summer. The blade has been done a few months and I finally got around to a sheath. With the blade shape I was going for some of the added cutting power of a recurve without the hassle that comes with sharpening a recurved blade. The handle is very comfortable and has a neutral shape so it works in any grip orientation. It has a nice weight for its size at 8.61 ounces and is balanced right at the front of the guard.
I forgot the spine picture. I will get one added tomorrow.
This blade is made from 1/4" CPM3V ground to 400 grit and finished on an ultra fine scotch brite belt. Handle is black micarta with stainless pins. The sheath is kydex and comes with a TekLok.
There is a striking point on the back of the handle that sticks out just enough that the steel is exposed but not enough that it will poke you when in the sheath.
