Heads Up; More M390 from DLT

Well just ordered mine! I’ve missed my Smurf and only have a beat up s30v for work I need a m390 for my not at work modern folder
 
Are these exclusive to just DLT? Kristi, on the spyderco forums said something about expecting to see them on other dealer's pages soon...i'm a little confused...
 
This is a distributor exclusive, not a dealer exclusive. I do not think that DLT commissioned this sprint. According To Kristi they should be available from multiple dealers.
 
I emailed DLT Trading regarding this ParaMilitary2 M390/Red G-10.

Me: "Is the upcoming ParaMilitary2 M390 really an exclusive to just DLT Trading?"
DLT: "Yes it is, we are the only place where it will be available."

Her reply was in response to people asking about a Para 3 in a similar configuration (Red G10/M390). What I gathered from that is that this particular configuration may be extended to other models and might available at other dealers. Maybe I'm interpreting that wrong, but I think perhaps not...

When she says "seeing these pop up with all the usual suspects", "these"= Red G10/M390 and "the usual suspects"=the usual knives that Spyderco does their dealer exclusives in (PM2, Manix, Millie, etc).

So in other words, down the line we can expect to see more Red G10/M390 Spyderco exclusives at DLT Trading.
 
She specifically lists the model number for the Para2 and specifically says that that model number is a distributor exclusive and not a dealer exclusive. That seems very clear to me. Distributor exclusives go out to many dealers and I am pretty sure that is what she is saying.

Distributor exclusives and dealer exclusives are two very different things.
 
The whole run of knives was purchased from the distributor by DLT Trading

They were not commissioned as a dealer exclusive, but they are now since DLT Trading purchased the whole run.

I ordered one as well. I've been seeing people on these boards asking for this exact knife for some time now, myself included. Nice job DLT!
