So glad to hear from you - there've been a lot of folks anxiously watching this thread for word. Glad to hear everything is going as well as it is - "not terrible" is pretty good after surgery; cereal and Vicodin is the breakfast of champions!:D Take it easy, and we'll be waiting to hear more from you soon. Smoke and prayer continuing.:thumbup:

Surgery went fine. Got home yesterday and went to bed. Pain is bearable, maybe a 4 or 5 even before the meds. Hate the foley catheter, but it comes out thursday, as do the staples. Vicodin and cookie-dough icecream is pretty sublime, too. What keeps it from being habit forming is by the third time, you start wondering if somewhere out there, Liza Minnelli isn't having the same treat.

They can be if you don't really need them but people with chronic pain don't have any problems with addiction. Steve will do and be fine.:thumbup: :D :cool:
