Heat anodizing

Hey all!

I recently picked up a high end folder that I would like to have heat anodized, however, I only know people who use the voltage method.

If you could pm be with examples of your work I'd love to discuss a project. In case you were wondering, I was looking to do a dark purple color if possible. Handles and back spacer are all Ti.

I tried heat anodizing once with a torch. It's fun! You should give it a go! Just make sure your materials are super clean with no oils of any kind. give it a good acetone wash. wear rubber gloves.

You could buy a sheet of TI from alpha knife supply and practice!
