Heat Bluing or Coloring

Does anyone have any info or recommendations on how to heat color or heat blue or whatever it's called, on 416ss? Do you use a torch? Thanks.

A torch will work,just heat the piece and paint the blue color as you go with the torch,once the whole piece is colored just set it aside and let it cool
