Whats the best (in YOUR OPINION) heat treat and tempering facility to send blades to? Looking to advance to d2 and stainless
 
Hands down, Paul Bos is universally acclaimed in the custom knife industry as the go-to guy for HT of air hardening steels. http://www.buckknives.com/resources/pdf/Paul_Bos_Brochure.pdf
That said, he has a pricing schedule that favors sending batches of knives.

Peters Heat Treat on the East Coast is also frequently mentioned, but someone else will have to supply contact information.
 
TKS does a good job, but I may be biased because there are close and I could drop them off and pick em up.
Never used Paul but everyone here says he is the best.Also good reports about Peters.
