well, here is the deal: I'm fairly new here, and until now didn't know that you could edit your old posts. In light of that, the very first post of the Walking Man seemed somewhat funny, to say the least. I just took this idea a little further and followed up with the post of 03:15 - without bad intentions in mind, really; it was hard to imagine that could be viewed as offensive (keep in mind that I didn't know you could edit old posts)

As far as Walking Man not having done anything wrong, he didn't. Until 03:58, that is.
 
I thought Samoand's post funny. It was not intended as an insult it seemed to me. Walking Man overreacted a little, but that's understandable because he's new too and didn't know about the kidding. I understand wanting to save typing and time and I don't think anyone was ever worried about the Secret Knowledge of Small Blade Hardness.

Even though I'm not the World's Greatest Arbitor, could we just relax now?

We older members no doubt spurred this on with our joking. We were just giving Walking Man a bit of ribbing. Don't anyone take it, or us serious.:rolleyes: ;)
This is often done with threads that the poster decided to edit or changed his mind completely about his post.
And sometimes the thread generates into something very worthwhile, don't let this one be otherwise please.:D
 
I thought it was funny...but then, I just got back from yet another trip and may have stepped into a bizzarrobladeforum by mistake.
 
btw, Walking Man, I thought that name one of the best handles I'd heard.

Not only mystic, but simple and good.

More like taps again - but then again, some egos are soo fragile.. oh, and btw: for a proud author of the post of 3:58 an apology would be more appropriate.

Sorry, folks, this is my last post on this topic. I didn't really mean to make it a flame war, this is a clean place and I'll do my part to keep it this way.
