no sorry necessary, I should probably apologize to you. :foot: I'm a bit unfiltered before morning coffee, that was probably a bit more smart$ss than I should have replied
im thinking about doing a small chamber so it can heat fast and be easy to move. im thinking 4" wide x 4" tall x 14" long. im hoping that i can run it off 115v thats one reason for the small chamber size. any parts list would be great. i have heard that one needs around 4 watts per square inch. the 14" paragon is 4.24 W/in^2. the 13.5" evenheat is 7.00 W/in^2 and 18" is 5.25 W/in^2. my 4x4x14 would be 224in^2 and at 16A 115v thats 1800W = 8.21 W/in^2 that should heat very fast. hows that look?
ok i decided to do a chamber 4" wide by 4.5" tall and 18" long. im going to run 240 at 15-20 amps. should heat very quick. my question is this, will 2.5" thick bricks be ok? im going to use 4 bricks for the floor and 4 for the top, the floor and top would be 9"W x 18"L x 2.5"T. then 2 bricks for each wall so the walls hold up the top. am i on the right track. where is a good place to get the elaments.
