I ordered from Jantz and they said it would ship from evenheat, it's into the 5th week with no tracking info no oven.

Should I be concerned?

Both reputable companies a call to evenheat with all your info from Jantz on purchase might shed some light on delivery schedule.

I was just wondering if it was normal to take this long, not saying anything negative about either company.

If it was me, I would have been calling both of them within 2 weeks. I'm impatient though lol

Mine took 4 weeks back in January. I would think you should hear something soon.

Do you know who they used to ship it?

I found out it had shipped and have a tracking number but they didn't say it I didn't hear who is handling it.

Sounds similar to my dealings. Bought it from someone other than youself, but same MO. Got a shipped notice, but no further info. Happened to be home one afternoon, heard a truck backing down our street, and voila, here it be. No complaints mind you, just the way it went down.

I've made it a habit on large expensive equipment to add a note to the vendor that I be notified on date item leaves their dock and delivery date so I am available with equipment (man power) to handle the delivery. I don't worry about small flat rate box items, but expensive stuff is different. It's certainly not to much trouble to add the note and they have been pretty good about following the request.

I found out it shipped on the 17th, either she didn't say or I don't remember who the carrier is.

That driver must be taking the scenic route.

I would expect it Monday if it shipped by ground freight on the 17th. Its not like the truck is driving straight from the factory to your house. Once it has a full load, it winds a long path across the country delivering the items to many places. I usually figure 7-10 days for freight.

Yeah I know, once I made a call and found out it shipped I have been Ok with waiting .

I am used to having lots of small packages shipped and often anything inside the country will arrive within a week.

Not sure if it had to be built or if it's their normal turnaround time but it was over 3 weeks before it shipped, that's what seemed to take so long.

My drill press uses a 3/16ths v belt, I ordered one a week ago and yesterday I got a message saying shipment would be delayed a week, so I'm just not doing great with shipping right now.

It was YRC Freight. Since it was a residential delivery they contacted me about making an appointment for drop off.
They gave me a 5 hour window that I couldn't make. Their depot is only about a 25 minute drive so I made arrangements for pickup.

Still no oven. My tracking number doesn't work with anyplace I've tried.

I 've been super busy but Friday I'm going to call and get some answers.

I 've had plumbing problems, mower problems and vehicle problems over the last couple weeks or I would have been going nuts.

Solved the plumbing problems and bought a new Husky zero turn today, once I get the fuel pump in for my truck I'm going to be ready to make some knives.
