They look like pottery kilns turned on their side. Not a bad price for the base models. I would choose an Evenheat before the digital model.

Why not try and build 1. The Oven by Andy Gascoigne is not to hard to put together. Took me about a year and 1/2 to gather the parts and 2 weeks to put together.
Cost about $300.00
Mine will get to 1500 degrees in 10 min.
Check in out The plans are in one of the tutorials somewhere.

I got one of these bout 4 years ago. I bought the 24'' then added a digital controller later. I bought it from the maker, Sugar Creek Kilns for a bit less $$ but that was a few years ago. Good oven, works great but I would rather have a Paragon and will get one one day.
