Anybody out there got any recomendations for heat treatment companies? I'm putting a lot of work into my latest knife and want to make sure I get a good temper on it, so I'm splurging a bit.
Here is what I've got so far and the design. I'm leaving the scale on the blade because 1, I like the look, and 2, it will be tougher to damage. Less scratches. The steel is 404*. I can't remember the last number. Either a 7 or 8.
