Heat treating 1084-1095

I have 2 full tang hunters finished . I used Aldo's 1095 and1084.I have new evenheat oven.I am looking for advise on proper heat treating.Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

For 1084, get your oven to 1500F and stick your blade in. Once the blade is at 1500F and has been there for a few minutes, take her out and quench in 130F canola oil or Parks 50 or similar quenchant for 10 seconds, remove and let cool to room temp. Temper at least twice 400F for two hours.

For 1095, get your oven to 1475 and stick yoru blade in. Once the blade is at 1475, let it soak for at least 5 or 10 minutes, take her out and quench in Parks or similar. Canola will work, but might have some retained austenite, and not full RC, but still a good hard blade. Same temper.

That is a quick run down. I suggest, like carbonsteel928, read everything you can find online Kevin Cashen has written. Coating blades with ATP or satanite or whatever is a great way to reduce decarb and scale.
