no,,, it is food IG makes it and it is HOT STUFF we've dubbed it
Indian Georges Heat Treating Relish :)

I've got some of that great stuff too. A knife tip worth at one time is way too much for me to handle but I am often sampling it in a very sparing way. It sure is good stuff and goes a real long ways.

Last time I was down at IG's, Larry T was slathering spoonfuls of that stuff on his pizza. The rest of us were cringing. I'm sure glad I didn't have his colon the next morning.

How does the relish work on woodchucks ? Phil said 6 more weeks of winter ! HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY !!!

Mete; I am sure it would work on ground rats and just as well on treerats. Don, remind me to send you out some of my smoked relish in September. It goes great on steaks.

PS: Don't put it on that bone I sent you. ;)

LOL, I eat your relish all the time.

Higgy's Brat Sauce
1/4 Cup Mayo
1/4 Cup Dijon Mustard
2 TB chopped onion
1/4 Cup chopped sweet pickle
1 TB IG's HT Relish

Good stuff, and my colon thanks me later. :)

Indian George, I hope this is not too presumptous of me, I would like to sample that "relish" if it is at all possible. Being a native New Mexican I favor the uh temporing foods that Mr Nap has mentioned. Maby there is something we could trade. I make jerk that prety good.

What do you say?

Riley: I am down to my private stash. Ask me in September and I'll gladly trade with you. I am going to find a farmer to plant a 1/2 acre this season of the Habenaros. These sucks are hotter than the ones that you can buy in the store. I think it must have something to do with the cold nights. If you want the recipe I'll give it to you. ;)

Next september I'm gonna try to trade for 4 jars, 1 just doesn't last until the next year. I'll have to try the smoked one too. Have you ever concidered marketing the stuff? It'll scare the crap out of some people, but other people look for stuff like that and get sorely dissapointed by what the supermarkets have to offer.

If I can find a local farmer to grow the peppers that will be the plan. I can not meet the demand of just the people on this forum and friends with my limited growing capacity. :(

Hopefully the farmer's 1/2 acre plan works out then. I've let 5 people besides myself taste it, after asking them "Do you like hot food?" and then asking "Are you sure? It's really freakin hot." and 4 of the 5 thought it was the best thing ever. The 5th was a foreigner and was assuming that being American made, even though it claims to be hot is isn't (usually a safe assumption, not this time though :D ). If you could get enough of the ingredients together you could actually make a real buisness out of it.

you know if IG does that we'll have to have the H/I's in the farmers fields from then on.
how do you think they get watered?? :barf: :p :D necka heat :D  :D
