Hey guys. Does anyone know of a place to heat treat a mass quantity of blades in Denver? Looking at about 110 total.
For you guys who send your steel out for heat treat, what kind of pricing do you get?

Thanks,
Cody

I have looked around and asked people about heat treating knives in Colorado. I wasn't happy with what was out there. So I do them myself.

That many knives and you want them to be done correctly. Send them out to Peters Heat Treat. From my understanding their prices are pretty good if you have big quantities like yours.

Call Jeff Mutz at TruGrit, he'll give you a good deal on heat treating a large quantity like that and he knows how to heat treat S30V a different way to get better hardness results. If you call him, make sure you call later in the day rather than in the morning (between 2-4 is when I call), he takes care of a lot of stuff and isn't there early usually.
