This is a wondeful place with great people that answer just about every single question thats asked. SO here it is thanks to the help of forum members, also heres my new quench tank filled up with 5 Gallons of Houghton Quench K, and a new chopper I am making for a musician from Alabama. Thanks for everyones help again!!! Yall got me on the right path,Charlie

Lookin' good Charlie-man,

One step at a time........ That is how you reach the top of the mountain.... One step at a time.

Good job Charlie. I didn't mind all the emails, and it looks like it was worth it. I assume you got the PID wired and programed OK,too.

After you get used to the forge, consider adding a solenoid valve and connecting the PID to it to control the temperature. That will really help with HT.

Charlie,
Glad to see you got you some good equipment. Along with that grinder and anvil, you are starting a small shop. hope you got my email.
The knife looks real good man.
Take care,
Bryan

Looks great Charlie... I know all the "experts" here told you that a burner coming in the end wouldn't work, but after a long talk I had with Don Fogg about this stuff over the week-end I would like to disagree with them. ;)

Nice looking blade too! :)

Thank you guys very much! The Ht forge is amazing at equalizing the heat, i would highly recommend this set up to anyone, I appreciate the nice comments! Charlie
