The "issue" with Peters and other guys like Metallurgical Solutions, the salt pot guys in Providence, is that they have minimum orders. Not so bad if you have 10 or more blades, but it can get a little painful if you only have a couple. With that said, Peters only requires that the austnizing temperature be the same for two whole batch, so if you have blades made for different steels that can be austneinzed at the same temp, they will temper them differently for "free." They used to be able to do that with CPM3V and AEB-L, but I am not sure if they changed the temps for 3V now that they are using the Nate recipe.
