I intend on creating a heatable chef or santoku knife for increased cutting power as well as better cleaning properties.

I have connections with friends that want to help me with the invention, so the matters of safety and other problems shouldn't concern you, unless for some reason that is technically unviable.

What kind of steel would you recommend for a stamped blade that can heat up using a battery, to the point of being able to cut fish straight from the freezer?

Looks like a culinary Light Saber. I dont think ceramic can stop a cut thru.
None the less, very cool as a breadknife. Will slice and make toast in one motion.
