heavily modified BK2 "LandShark"

you can imagine how disappointed I am when I get all excited to see pics of this "modification"...only to find you've given me a big, fat "to be continued".

I hate you, Bushie.

I hate you alot.

:D

Pics are up!

i Really like the overall look of the knife, with one exception. why put the serrations right at the chopping sweet spot? seems like you would have more control with the serrations closer to the guard. but then again, its not my knife and if you like it the "give er man"

I suppose it does look kinda sharky. I don't doubt it will be popular, a couple of pretty radical knives have found a measure of support here recently.

Curious again: The pot lifter and the spark scraper look like they could have been incorporated into the jimping. Did you consider that when you were designing it and rule it out?

I put the serrations on the tip because i do not use the tip for chopping. I use the main area of the blade. Also, my BK2 is my small EDC and companion knife to my BK9 or Khukuri < they is the choppers.

yup. The jimping is a smaller file than the spark notch, and i wanted the pot lifter right near the tip.....less of my hand into the fire heat when lifting a pot

I'm a fan of forward serrations. Leaves the edge closest to your index finger free for regular use.

That's a nice setup Bushman !

Awesome !

I applaud anyone who mods their knives to their preference. You did a good job on that beast.

Pretty spiffy, Bushy. You're putting a lot of work into that thing.

I like it. My only comment would be that the jimping looks like it would be pretty sharp. Probably hurt my poor, delicate little thumb.
