So I went ahead and tried scaling up my larger drop-point Bushcraft style knife, and this is what came out:thumbup: Just over 8 1/2"overall, 4" tip-to-guard, 3/16" thick 1075, with micarta handles held on with SS Corby bolts and a SS lanyard tube! These have sabre grinds (if it's gonna be thick, it oughtta show
) and the flats are left 'as heat-treated' while the bevels (which come to a nice, thin edge on both knives) are machine satin finished. These are much more 'beefy' than my normal bushcraft style knives, there's nothing about them that feels delicate
As you can see, the black micarta handled knifeSPF has a black sheath with a dangler, and the olive micarta handled(SPF) knife's sheath has been left natural, and the knife comes with a paracord lanyard with a sliding antler 'button' Both sheaths are exceptionally well made by Diomedes Industries (Talfuchre here on BF), and I'm not joking when I say these are the best sheaths I've seen from him:thumbup:
Asking $140 each, Paypal and shipping (in the US) included:thumbup: Paypal or USPS MO only, please. I've got no problem shipping outside the US, as long as you cover the additional charges.
