I made one of these as a special order a little while ago and liked it so much I had to make me one. It has a thick sturdy blade ground thin at the edge so it will still cut like a son of a gun. It feels good in the hand and is an excellent using knife.

D-2 blade and spring of 1/8" stock
Flat ground with cut swedge
Stainless steel mill relieved liners
Blue/black G-10 scales
Crescent nail nick
Blade pull about a 6 with real smooth action
Halfstop
6 3/4" overall length
3 7/8" closed
SHARP!
$225.00 includes insurance and priority shipping to CONUS SOLD
Thanks for looking.

Roland, I never learned fractions. does it always work out that way? I always thought it partly depended on the frame, bolsers, pivot placement, etc.

Yes, i agree, Metric is easier.
Length of knife with blade open, minus, length of handle(closed length). equals, length of blade from tip of frame to blade tip.
Cutting edge will be slightly less due to tang.
