Heavy Duty Tee Shirts

I found 100% heavy cotton Gildans on the Bay for $4...Military green no less!!

LL Bean's no shrink Ts. Nice loose comfy fit for the larger person (like me). No branding. good price, last well, don't shrink.

Just reviving this thread in my never-ending quest for a heavyweight t-shirt with no logo (or very small). Ideally in a vintage or faded wash. Not clingy and not a long tail.
That's not too much to ask, right? The biggest problem I've run into is the weight and fit seems to change about every six months so a Champion heavyweight that used to be perfect is different a year later. Next time I find the perfect shirt, I'm buying 20 of them! Any thoughts?

I'm partial to Duluth. You can call and talk to them, and voice any concerns you have. I have two Henley shirts from them that are 3+years old, and aside from being stained, etc., they still fit just fine. Collars are still good, not loose & rolled over like most of my other shirts usually do in 6 months time.

They can be pricey, but they're worth it.

+1 Excellent quality and can't beat the price. Collar holds up well. I hate it when it's wrinkled.

Hello,

The kirkland T's are my favorite. I picked up a pack of six for $19 last week. When they get too stained up for going out in public I use them as work shirts.

Have a good one,

Chris

I have worn Carhartt, Duluth, Hanes Beefy T's, Gildans.

Duluth SUCKED imo, the fabric was thin and NOT durable, the cuffs did not work at keeping my sleeves up, the collar separated from the body of the shirt in the back, and my phone kept falling out of the pocket. This is when I was working as a fishmonger, and my clothing had to perform exceptionally....the Duluth failed. Duluth did refund my money, and that was appreciated.

The Carhartt shirts have performed just fine, both the l/s pocket t and henley. Due to this thread, I have ordered 3 of the Heavyweight t's and hope that they work admirably.

I found on the internet Camber tee shirts which are 8 oz (most of the heavyweight tee shirts appear to be more like 6.1 oz) fabric. They also have extremely heavyweight sweatshirts. They don't sell retail but have a couple of links on their website to places that carry their stuff. It seems kind of expensive (around $20 for a pocket tee) but well made and "heavy". I'm also kind of interested in their "doubleweight" hoodies, but I dont' know if I can justify $90 for a sweatshirt.

I ordered a Heavyweight tshirt today. I like that they have the measurements online and hope it "hangs" right on me. I should just pop up to San Clemente sometime. There's got to be a business out there for an entrepreneur since it is so hard to find something as supposedly simple as a tshirt. I live in tshirts and jeans so it is as important to me as a business guy trying to find the right button shirt.

Lots of inventory is in. Sizes sm through xxl. Be careful though to check out the size chart because these run large.

Large doesn't even come close....I wear a large Harley shirt, and have to order some SMALL Heavyweights because the Medium was way too big....these are set up for fat people.

Best Regards,

I wear the carhartt long sleeve pocket t-shirts. I do have one short sleeve, but that's because I bought it online and I thought it was long sleeve. They make a couple of different kinds though. One it heavy weight and one is light weight. The light weight version is great for the summer when you don't want a sun burn, and the heavy weight is great for everything else.
