Heavy Handed Knife

I didn't start out to make a knife this large but I ended up with a lot of steel once I started forging. Sometimes it just works that way.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind hand
Sanded to 400 grit
Forge marks along the spine and guard
Forged guard
Black Micarta handle sanded to 120 grit for grip
Overall length: 14 1/2 inches
Blade: 9 1/8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard
