This one was inspired by my daughter as a back up for LEO`s, hers has a black micarta handle. I see no reason why it would not work well in the outdoors.Think of a Hiker`s Backup`s big brother. It`s made from 3/16" O1, 1 1/4" at it`s tallest, with a 2 3/4" cutting edge, 6 1/4" overall. I put rosewood handles on this one. I plan on doing some of these in 1/8" and 3/32" stock.
