Forged from 1084 flat stock, edge quench, 600g satin finish, light etch, flat grind with short distal taper. Fairly heavy over all at 8-9oz., but still balances right behind the finger groove. The handle is African Blackwood which is a super dense, oily wood with a very dark root beer color and tight figure. Pins are 3/16" stainless . The blade is a true 1/4" thick over half way to the tip and the tang has a mild taper. Comes with a custom fit sheath.
