For a little more money, the zero tolerance 0200. Blows the AK out of the water. I've owned both, the 0200 is the one I still have.

Zero Tolerance 0350 as well... awesome knife, and while it is a liner lock.. the liner is HUGE...

Let me add, you can pick this up for ~85 as a blem model... but under or close to 100 new... awesome knife for the money..

Manix 2 is ideed suited for very heavy use and in your budget. Also check the Kershaw Tyrade G10 if still available - it was also in budget. The ZT200 is great but costs more than $100. For the price of the ZT200 ($120-140 on the bay) also check the SPyderco Caly 3 ZDP: compact yet very tough

That G-10 Endura of Spyderco's would be a dandy selection. Also any of Spyderco's H-1 knives are great for hard use as well. Good luck

you did'nt specify a tact or traditional.if you do'nt mind putting knive in belt sheath or pocket i ca'nt reccomend anything better than queen or gec.

+1 for the pocket bushman.
also have had real good service out of my Ontario RAT 1 folder
either can be had under $35 shipped.

If you like Cold Steel, the Recon 1 is a tough blade, as well as the Spartan and Pocket Bushman. A little over your budget is the ZT 0200, toughest folder I own.

I would go with the zt0200, you can get a blem one for $85, very nice knives:thumbup:

Spyderco Chinook 3 can be found for around $100 sometimes.
Plenty tough.

The Tyrade is a beast. A smaller and cheaper option might be the JYDII in CPM-D2...I've beat that knife to death and it's virtually unkillable.

Pohl Alpha 2. I have a Manix, a ZT 200 and a ZT 3001, but Alpha 2 is a BEAST. I´d compare with Extrema Ratio, but much cheaper.
