heavy use folding knife?

I don`t know, I've bought it from Germany... it was 129 Euro (Christmas special price :)). But I´m sure that you can find a German online shop.

the only big folder i've used harder than a Ti tyrade is a zt200...both are wonderfully robust tools, but the zt i consider bulletproof...i can and do abuse the zt200 in work situations and it's still a pretty looking clean knife...

The Cold Steele Recon is a good heavy use folder, I got one and it hasn't let me down yet, and I put it through a lot.

another vote for the cs recon 1.mine has saved the day twice in a rental house, once to finish trimming down a door (battery on cordless saw died) i cut the last one inch of stock away using the handle & holding the back of the blade,it really worked great. 2nd time in the same house, batonning through heavy cedar to make shims.my friend coulnt believe how good it worked.it really holds an edge, the way its ground makes you think its something other than aus-8.....

Take a look at the Spyderco C134GP, Gayle Bradley, you can find them for just a hair over 100.00 and it is M4 steel with carbon fiber scales, I totally agree with the Alpha and the 0200, great blades for your price range, (( rules violation ))

Kershaw ENRG-II. Emerson durability, Benchmade quality, and Spyderco blade performance all rolled into one package. Seriously. Check out the new all black G-10 handles.

Hugely underrated. The Cold Steel Pocket Bushman.

+ 2 on that one. I have an older Recon 1, which I carried for 10 years. I have Busse which get a lot of pocket time.

I got one of the Pocket Bushman around thanksgiving. It gets carried a lot too. I am fascinated with the thing. I have knives that I carry that are $250 or more. I have carried Hinderer XM-18 and Chris Reeve Sebenza large........

I just can't put the pokcet Bushman down. I would posit it is, hands down the best value for the money. Super strong lock. Simple. Very sharp, great blade geometry, very pointy blade. The tip is needle sharp. Makes great kitchen duty knife too! Would be gerat bushcrafter also.

Spartan looks like a beast, along with most of the other CS folders (they make really strong stuff).

Zero tolerance makes great strong stuff too.

i think its between the cold steel recon and the tyrade. i just want a lock thats gunna hold up good. but im also an addict of the speedsafe..

You said under $100 and Heavy use..mmm.. Kershaw Tyrade, Spydie Manix 2. A ZT would be awesome but its hard to stay under 100 with that

May I interest you in a Kershaw Lahar for ~$60? It has a large VG-10 high flat ground blade with G-10 scales and steel liners and lock. It is a very stout folder.

UPCHUCK Kershaw Lahar Seems like a really cool for one exception, i just checked on the net, few sites had it for 45 bucks New..so if ur selling a used blade..better come down some...

Spyderco Manix 2. Tough build and first rate materials for around $80 street. I can't imagine what you couldn't do with it that you could do with any other folder.
