If it's so great, then why is there nothing available in S5, Caldie, or Unimax?

Maybe you should put your money where your mouth is and use one of those steels to make your mythical FFK.

The sorry truth is that FFK has never posted anything worth reading on these forums, unless you consider the entertainment value.

His comments in this thread have once again brought him to the forefront of the discussion, which seems to be the common denominator any thread he participates in.

I just hope that the folks who come here to learn don't make the mistake of taking this self proclaimed "Knife Maker" as someone who has something important to share.

The biggest problem with the internet in general is separating the wheat from the chaff, I think many of us here have learned to give the knife maker's a bit more respect when it comes to the opinions shared, but here we have a prime example of someone paying for the upgrade (when he freely admits to not having any knives to sell) and acting like he knows what he's talking about.

At least some of the more knowledgeable members have done a fairly good job at corralling the nonsense that this member spouts over and over again.

Ev13wt,

Exactly my point, I too am glad that the good folks here know when to speak up.

Any proof that it is stronger than other folding knives ? Or just more unsupported claims as usual ?
Fixed blade capability from a folding knife, yada yada. All I see is a video of an unused knife with a cumbersome locking mechanism.
All Vaporware so far, bold claims and wise-ass behaviour. :thumbdn:

But this is about steels, not about fairy tales. All I know is that you will have a hard time breaking ANY decent knife made out of good steel. Go ahead, buy an Opinel for a few bucks and try to break it. You'll be surprised how much it takes to break this flimsy-looking pocket knife, let alone a fixed blade.

Yawn....

On this issue, it looks to me like he does, as his seems to be the sentiment of most everyone here in regards to your integrity, honesty, and overall knowledge of knifemaking.

I'm getting tired of repeating myself about discussing the topic instead of discussing each other.
I'm also getting annoyed at decent topics being ruined by trolling antics and the soap box mentality of some people.
Perhaps infractions will have to start being issued to clue them in on where the line is.
