Just messing around in the shop with some ideas... not something I would normally make.

The heads are made from pipe fittings. A steel bushing is epoxied, screwed down onto the shaft, then wedged like a hammer would be. The caps are epoxied and screwed down tight. I polish up the fittings a bit for that junkyard classy look. They have so many practical uses.:cool::thumbup:

Walking Stick - 31" long, tapered oak shaft, hemp wrap, copper cap with lag screw tip. $250
Midget Cane - 27" long, rattan shaft, hemp wrap. $225
Fish Club - 22" long, hickory shaft with an oval cross section, leather lanyard, steel ferrule with lag screw tip. $250

Dang, those are pretty. I wish I had a use for a walking stick, cause that thing is really tempting me... (good thing I'm broke, I guess :p)
