Just messing around in the shop with some ideas... not something I would normally make.
The heads are made from pipe fittings. A steel bushing is epoxied, screwed down onto the shaft, then wedged like a hammer would be. The caps are epoxied and screwed down tight. I polish up the fittings a bit for that junkyard classy look. They have so many practical uses.

Walking Stick - 31" long, tapered oak shaft, hemp wrap, copper cap with lag screw tip. $250
