I happen to have a Helle knife made in Norway, and it seems to be considerably old. I acquired it from my father who got it from my grandfather (father-in-law), who got it from his father-in-law, who got it from his father. It may be the jublinskinaufen (anniversary knife) made by Helle, or the Helle Bard, which it says on the sheath. The sheath looks to be replaced with a newer bard sheath. I would like to know how old it is if it is the jublenskinaufen. I will not be using this for much more than to look at and to maybe trim the fat off or a deer. I would like to know if it it is a collectors piece too. I'm hoping that you guys could lend me a hand. I've hot many more knives to ask about. When I get on my computer the next time, I'll post pictures.

Thanks,
Ben

Why not wait until you have pictures of the knife ready before making your posts?

Nobody can tell what you have without looking clear, detailed, perpendicular (no angle shots) pictures to review.

I understand, but I am away from my computer and will be away until Monday. I will try and post pictures as soon as possible.
