Helle yes or Helle no?

Can't go wrong, Helle's are my favorite scandi knives. I have a futura and an orn now, but have had several others in the past. I think they are a nice step up from Mora with some class. Getting a few blanks and doing the handles is a good way to go. This is not a helle, its a knife I made and I'm just finishing it up, but its inspired by Helle and shows what you can do with handles.uploadfromtaptalk1425567658855.jpg

They make great knives, baded on everything I've ever heard about them. However, they are way over my budget. I guess I'll just have to "settle" for a Mora. (when I can afford one)
 
Helle YES, I say! I have a couple. This Fjellkniven gets used the most - in winter and summer - and it has held up great.
